Customer Rating: Summary: Ambitious Claims + Trusted Name = Disappointment Comment: I was initially skeptical about Pampers Cruisers Dry Max Diapers because the diapers are so thin. I didn't think a thin diaper would adequately absorb and contain wetness when used on a 25-pound child. I was right. I think making the diapers thinner was prompted more by savings in manufacture than on improving the actual product's performance.
The diapers are easy to use, and will not make big bulges under a child's clothing, but they do not contain moisture and often leak, soiling bed sheets and/or clothing. It's ironic that the product claims to "lock wetness away" for up to 12 hours; in my case, after only two or three hours, the diapers began to leak.
I like the convenience of having 100 diapers in a box. There's a sense of security when such a large number of diapers are on hand -- no trips to all-night drugstores because we've run out. However, because of the diapers' flimsiness, changes must be made more frequently and this means a lot of extra time that can better be used for other tasks. Since more diapers are needed to keep a child reasonably dry, using the Dry Max diapers is not at all economical.
I am particularly diasappointed because this is a Pampers product. I have come to trust this brand. I expected quality and reliability. Instead, the product caused me to spend valuable time dealing with its shortcomings and poor design.
Customer Rating: Summary: Comfortable and absorbent and no leaks Comment: Dry max lining helps these diapers absorb wetness and even though they are super thin they worked as promised. The elasticized leg holes are easy to adjust and the tabs are part velcro and part sticky tape so they stay in place and are easy to open if you need to do a quick status check or readjust. 100 diapers per box means less restocking and buying them on Amazon is a bargain when they ship to your door.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not perfect, but pretty good Comment: These diapers are definitely thinner than previous disposable diapers that we used and that's nice. They're not as bulky under my daughter's shorts like so many of the other diapers are. They also hold a lot of liquid, which is a nice plus, because you can use them for overnight. However, I do find that they still have this extra piece that makes them long and hangs down out of the leg of her shorts. But I find this with every single diaper we've tried. I think as your child ages it gets harder to find the perfect diaper.
Customer Rating: Summary: highly recommend Comment: Pampers makes good products and this one is no exception. They work great and are a good value. I highly recommend them.
Customer Rating: Summary: Useless. Comment: What's not to love about these diapers? The papery texture rubbing against your child's skin, the total lack of any absorbent material whatsoever in back, the absence of an elastic edge to prevent blowouts, the mediocre performance of the diaper when actually expected to do its job and absorb...
The only thing this diaper does well is be thin, and it's thin because they left the absorbent part out of 1/3 of the diaper.
Don't waste your money here.
