Summary: Don't bother!!
Comment: If you are reading this review and trying to make a well informed decision about this product you are already smarter than I was when I blindly ordered these. When I decided to cloth diaper my daughter I automatically went with gerber. I have several gerber prefolds that went through a friends four children and they are great. These, however are awful. I was so excited when the box came in the mail, yes I know who gets excited over something your child pee's & poo's in. So anyway the box comes in and I open it up, pull out one of diapers and look straight through it. They are so thin I could see the t.v. through the stupid thing. Well I know that you should wash your diaper's four or five times in hot water so I tried this. Nope, it didn't help a bit. They did shrink up, they even quilted up quite a bit, but they leak even the smallest amount of spit up. Just imagine if it was pee or worse. Grrr. I might use these to scrub toilets at least that way they are coming close to their intended purpose.

Comment: Even with three of these (three!) inside a diaper cover, they still leaked after just a few hours on my 18-month-old- the two times I tried them she woke up from her 2 hour nap soaked through her clothes and with pee all over her bed. I have a friend who also uses cloth diapers and the ones she has are much thicker and more absorbent than these. I'll have to just use them as rags because they are close to useless for absorbing pee... they say "3-ply" and you would think that they would be worth something but they are really non-functional.

Summary: Great as burp cloths!
Comment: I can't seem to find these in the stores. I love these as burp clothes and I've sewn ribbon or fabric on them and given them as sets for baby showers and gifts! These don't have the extra padding in the middle so they're perfect for burping or wiping up messes.

Comment: I am happy to have found these here. I cant find them in the stores. I have not used them as diapers but we use these ALOT for burping, wiping spit up, wiping tears from face...etc.
