Pack of 3 snappis (purple, white, mint green)
The Snappi® is a safer, more reliable, EASY to use fastener for cloth diapers that replaces the nasty diaper pins. The stretchable non-toxic Snappi® hooks into the diaper material to make a strong closure. They work best with diapers that have a loose enough weave for the Snappi® to hook into. (Snappi® terry cloth diapers, cotton pre-folds, and others) Note they do not work well with flannel or other tightly woven diapers.
How to use your Snappi®:
To improve elasticity, stretch your Snappi® fastener a few times before use.
Step 1: Hook left
Step 2: Stretch across and hook right
Step 3: Stretch down and hook center
The Snappi® should go from a "T" shape to a "Y" shape when stretched properly.
Warning: Always use a cover over a Snappi fastener. Keep out of children's reach when not in use. Do not use a Snappi fastener on toddlers that have the ability to undo or take off their cover/diaper/clothes. Do not use your Snappi for longer than 6 months. Not UV resistant - exposure to the sun can reduce the effectiveness of the Snappi.
CAUTION: Any tear in the Snappi can lead to separation of a piece, presenting a possible choking hazard. Inspect the Snappi before each use and discontinue using immediately if there is any sign of cracking, tearing, breakage or wear of the teeth or any other parts. Do not cut a Snappi as this may cause tearing.
New, never used.

Customer Rating: Summary: Very useful for prefolds Comment: These little gadgets make cloth diapering with prefolds or flats so much easier. Changing a diaper using one of these is just as quick as changing a disposable once you get the hang of it. I use BabyKicks hemp pre-folds and these grip the material very well. Just a few things I'll point out, first emphasizing these are minor issues and I do recommend these to mamas who can't afford fancy pocket diapers but still want ease of use.
1. They are sharper than you would expect. They always seemed so soft and benign, until one day I caught the teeth on my finger during a diaper change- Ouch! It bled. However, this is much less likely to happen than with pins.
2. I do not recommend these for toddlers. My daughter is exceptionally bright for her age, and could unfasten a disposable or velcro pocket diaper by 4 months old. At 7 months old, she can easily unfasten a Snappi, as well as the velcro diaper covers, so we just have a rule in the house that she must ALWAYS have shorts or bloomers over her diaper. I don't believe this is at all a flaw in the product, I just have a very mischievous, bright little girl. But once your child gets to that diaper-removing stage, whenever that may be, these don't stand a chance against those wandering fingers.
Other than that, we love our Snappis. They are easy to wash, easy to use and take the hard work out of cloth diapering.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good idea; Bad sizing Comment: I tried these for my grandson. They're great but the size 1 which says to 18 months doesn't fit my 4 month old (17 lb.) grandson. If they did, I would be quite happy. I believe there is a toddler size but I haven't been able to find it online.
Customer Rating: Summary: My Husband "This is the best diaper invention EVER!" Comment: The velcro closures on our BumGenius are a bit worn and our toddler LOVES to take her diapers off, which is mostly fine... except in bed when the sheets need constant changing!
These snappis are great! I was worried they might mar the fabric of the diapers but they don't seem to at all.
It's summertime and baby loves to run around with as little clothing as possible, Snappis to the rescue!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Very helpful for infant poo :-) Comment: These are a great invention to replace pins for INFANTS who aren't eating solids yet, as they allow you to get a tight enough fit at the legs to prevent the poo from getting on your diaper covers every time the baby poos. Now, if there were just a way to keep the poo from escaping out of the back (top) of the prefold onto the cover! Needless to say, we switched to Kissaluvs, then to bG OS. But I highly recommend them for anyone "trying out" cloth with their infants, you could use them for your toddler, but not absolutely necessary.
Customer Rating: Summary: Ideal for prefold and covers Mamas! Comment: This is the ideal accessory for cloth diapering Moms and Dads that want a tight fit for their child's cloth diaper. The Snappi is easy to use and can fit a variety of different sized babies. My only gripe about the Snappi is that it needs to be stretched a few times before you get a really good grip on the cloth diaper. Apart from that, these are a cloth diaperers best friend!
