Customer Rating: Summary: Easy to Use Comment: I enjoy using the Diaper Dekor system -- it's so easy to refill and simple to use. Yes, these bags are "biodegradable" but most diapers aren't. But at least you're throwing something biodegradable into the landfill, instead of a regular plastic bag! One less plastic bag could help...
A note to those who throw away poopy diapers in the diaper pail -- DON'T! I remember reading this advice when my son was a newborn, and he's 1 and 1/2 now... we've never thrown a poopy diaper in the diaper pail, and his room has NEVER smelled. We always wrap the poopy ones in a plastic shopping bag (I know, not biodegradable) and throw out with the regular trash. We can keep the diaper pail smell-free for a couple of weeks this way.
Good luck!

Customer Rating: Summary: Not the biodegradable ones Comment: I've been using the Diaper Dekor for years and like it. Two things to note about this refill: 1) It fits the PLUS size, so don't order it if you have the smaller size. 2) This is not the biodegradable version. I'm not sure if that's a big deal since you're filling it with non-biodegradable diapers, but just don't get confused if you have a preference.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great on capacity, ok on smell. Comment: We have used the Dekor for over six years with a few year break before now and originally loved it. There is more of a noticable odor than the original bags. Next time we need bags we are going buy through the company to get the old ones. The garbage system is great!
Customer Rating: Summary: No odor problem for us Comment: We've used the diaper dekor for 6 months now without odor problems. I could see an odor issue developing if I let the dirty diapers simmer in the pail for a week, but that would be my fault.
Also, I don't understand why folks question the benefit of a biodegradable bag. Even if you aren't using a biodegradable or semi-degradable diaper, think of how many bags we are sending to the landfill.
Customer Rating: Summary: Change is not welcome Comment: As others have pointed out, why the changes? The new bags cost more, block less smell and what good is a bio degradable bag if the diapers aren't? This appears to be a cost increase and a feature decrease. Boo! Hiss! I still give it three stars, begrudgingly, because it does still "work." What a shame that a five star product has fallen in the ranks.
