Editorial Reviews:

Clearly one of the most versatile diaper pail/pail liners currently available. The only one of its kind made with an elastic cord that makes it possible to use it both as a tote bag and a diaper pail with an elasticized opening. Measures 27" wide x 30" tall with an 8" gusset.

Summary: LEAKED!
Comment: I read all of the positive reviews on this bag, and really wanted to like it. However, I used it for 2 days and it leaked terribly! Also, it caused a real headache in the washing machine. The bag would fill up with water but it wouldn't all drain out in the spin cycle, so the remaining water would drip all over my diapers, getting them too wet to throw in the dryer, and requiring me to do an extra spin cycle. What's the point of a pail liner if it's going to leak and cause extra work on laundry day? Now I just throw my dipes straight into the pail, and disinfect the pail while the wash is running. So much easier than dealing with the bag. I don't know what I'm going to do with the bag at this point - I'll either use it as a dry laundry bag, or return it.

Summary: Works well
Comment: I've been using this for about 3 weeks now for my cloth diapers, and so far it's done great. I just turn it inside out and wash it with my diapers, and it has been easy to take care of. I've been line-drying both this bag and my diapers as much as I can, but I have thrown it in the dryer a few times on low heat and it's been fine. I like the elastic at the top that helps it stay on the trash can. I haven't even needed the drawstring at all. It doesn't have a cloth tag for essential oils like my other bag does, but I wash often enough that it hasn't mattered. And it'd be easy enough to attach a little piece of fabric with a safety pin to the inside if that's really important to you.

Summary: Not what it used to be...
Comment: I own four of these. Two I bought three years ago, which are fantastic. Two I bought in the past month, which are not as fantastic. In fact, despite washing and drying the liners in the same way, one of the new liners suddenly wadded itself into a ball, with the inner lining sticking to itself. It's now unusable. The company has been working with me and seems to be willing to replace the product. They said that they changed the way that they are manufactured because the old style had environmental problems. So, be quite careful about how you wash and dry these, exposing them to very little heat (I dried mine on medium, as I had been doing for years with the other ones.)

I still really like these bags, but I don't like that I need to be so careful with them. My older bags are still going strong after three years use. I did have to repair a seam on one of them, but that was no problem for me.

Summary: Works fine, but doesn't hold odor in very well.
Comment: Satisfied with this product overall. I keep it in the laundry closet. I wash diapers every 2nd day and on wash day the odor leakage from the bag is overwhelming.

Summary: Nice wet bag, but a little expensive....
Comment: I've had this bag for almost a year, and it's been washed every 2-3 days during that whole time. It has held up in the lengthy, hot washes very well! I always line dry it, so that may help too. I like the drawstring top, but only use it when I'm traveling. I found that leaving the top open and exposing the diapers to air cuts WAY down on the ammonia build-up. This bag fits perfectly in a 13-gallon trash can.

The only drawback is the price -- there are other decent wet bags out there that oost less. I'm not sure the drawstring top is important enough to make up the difference.
