Customer Rating: Summary: Recognized by most local pools Comment: Most of our local pools specifically state that you have to use Huggies brand Little Swimmers for kids swimming in their pools. They hold up really well in the pool. However, don't keep your kids in these for long outside of the pool. They really don't hold much of any liquid/solids, which I guess is the point on how they can hold up in the pool without swelling up. One tip when taking these off of your child...just rip the sides rather than trying to slide them down your child's legs.
Customer Rating: Summary: Little Swimmers do the job Comment: I use these for swimming lessons and extended fun swim time. It is nice to be able to tear the sides to remove them.
Customer Rating: Summary: A hot-weather necessity Comment: These are almost a necessity for those with children and for when the weather is hot enough for outside water activities. They do what they are advertised to do. They are expensive, though - Amazon had a very competitive price on these and it was well worth it to have them shipped to me. I did not even have to leave the house!
Customer Rating: Summary: Huggies Swimmers *vs* Pampers Splashers Comment: I have long been a Huggies fan. We use Huggies in diapers, overnights and pull-ups so I automatically purchased the Huggies Swimmers. The Swimmers were just OK. The Swimmers didn't swell like regular diapers but did fill up completely with water, hanging way down in the back off both my boys. They are suppose to have tear away sides for getting out of easily but I could not get them to tear.
My Mom purchased some of the Pampers Splashers and gave them to me. The Pampers were much better. They didn't fill up with water and sag like the Huggies did. Their tear away sides actually tore away, although they are more difficult to remove than training pants.
I'm going with the Pampers from now on, I was pleased with their performance.
Customer Rating: Summary: great so far Comment: We've used these twice and they seem to work great. They are very easy to slip on and come off even easier b/c the sides come apart if you pull on them. I was warned by a friend not to leave them on once swimming is over b/c once they're wet and the baby is out of the water, they can leak if the baby goes to the bathroom.
They are also so cute!
