Summary: This should be standard issue with a baby!
Comment: I first came across this product years ago in Germany. Both my babies benefited from it. As far as I can tell, the product is the same today, some 40 years later. And while I don't have babies right now, I know it will be beneficial for a lot of skin problems. I was so glad to see it on Amazon. If you have a baby or know a loved one who does, this is a product you definitely want. There is absolutely nothing better for diaper rash.

Comment: Our German friend highly recommended us to buy it for our son. So we tried it, and found it is the BEST diaper rash cream on earth. Our son has been using it for about 7 months, is still happy with it.

Comment: This product is something I do not ever want to miss in my bathroom. It is Great for chaved bottoms, also works for minor skin abrasions in other areas of the body, and not just for babies. Excellent product! By the way, everyone always raves about ALOE, I am allergic to it and this produt is a great alternative!!!!

Comment: I have been using Penaten creame since my girls were babies, now they're 32 and 29, and now my daughter uses it on my grandaughters. My mother used it on me when I was little. It's great on rashes and also to help avoid them. Great for skin irritations. Gina

Summary: The Cream of Magical healing powers
Comment: My mother is German who married a U.S. Army soldier, so I grew up using this product. If you read the label it is called Wundcreme. Wound creme. We used it for everything from diaper rash to red/infected zits and open cuts and bloody scrapes. It's not just for babies behinds and rashes. Most all of these wounds healed overnight to within several days depending on their individual severity. It is a powerful product but gentle enough for a baby's skin. It has a unique formula that includes some of the same ingredients as other diaper rash ointments, but none of those products are in the same league as this product's effectiveness, so don't bother with other seemingly similar items. It's a waste of your money.
Back in 1980, a friend of mine had an infant son with bleeding diaper rash and the doctors had prescribed everything they knew for him and none of it was working. I brought her my can of Penaten Wundcreme and told her to use it. She slathered his sore little bottom with it in the morning and it was so soothing that he immediately stopped fussing. By late evening his sores were closed up, the bleeding had stopped and his little bottom was just a dark irritated pink. By morning he was in the clear.
This an old story on purpose: it shows that this product Penaten Penaten Baby Creme 5.1 oz cream has been kept unchanged because they haven't tried to "fix something that wasn't broken", right down to the type of container they've always used. It continues to sell because it is incredibly effective just like it is.
